FAQs

Faqs for you or your employees

  • What are the different services you provide?

Want to find out more about the styles of group yoga I offer then check out my Classes page, or call/email. For more information about the range of yoga and meditation I offer corporate clients, also talk to me over the phone or via email at mosquitoyoga@gmail.com .

  • What do I need to bring to online or in-person classes?

Bring along your mat and any props you have that may provide useful to your practice such as a bolster, blanket, strap, yoga blocks. One can always make shift a strap with a belt or tie, you can use towels for a blanket, thick small books for blocks, and a cushion.

  • How do I enter the online group class?

After booking online, you will receive a link via the confirmation email for our zoom meeting. On the day, click the zoom link received in the booking confirmation email and enter the password if prompted. If you are asked to 'wait in the waiting room', I will let you in shortly.

Please make sure you have downloaded the zoom app onto your device prior to class and the app is regularly updated. You can download the Zoom app here. https://zoom.us/download

  • How will I attend online Corporate classes?

Currently, corporate classes are held over zoom. A reoccurring link will be provided unless another method is agreed upon.

  • What do I need to bring to online or in-person classes?

Bring along your mat and any props you have that may provide useful to your practice such as a bolster, blanket, strap, yoga blocks. One can always make-shift a strap with a belt or tie, you can use towels for a blanket, thick small books for blocks, and bring a cushion. You won't need all these items so don't worry if you don't have them, however I would say a blanket as bare minimum is useful to have handy!

  • What do I wear?

In more dynamic styles of yoga one may get hot so perhaps you want to wear something that will keep you cool, but bring something to keep you warm when you slow down in relaxation. During Yin, meditation or Yoga Nidra, wear loose comfortable clothing you can stretch in, we won't be heating up the body with our movements so it is advised to wear clothing that may keep you warm, and bring extra layers or have a blanket handy just in case. Shoes and socks are not worn when practicing yoga.

  • Can I eat before class?

Yoga can be uncomfortable when practicing on a full stomach. Try to eat at least 2 hours before a class. If you need to eat closer to the class, a light snack should be fine.

  • What if I have a medical condition or Injury?

Always consult your doctor or physician before practicing yoga and follow their advice first and foremost.

  • What if I'm pregnant?

We would advise that you do not practice during your 1st trimester and that you should always consult your doctor before attending a class. When you come back to practice I advise on to undertake a Pregnancy Yoga Course to be shown the safest way to maintain your yoga practice for you and your baby prior to coming back to practice with Yoga Mosquito.

  • Is there an age limit?

Yoga is for everyone, however, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please always inform me if someone under 16 is hoping to attend a class.

  • What are the benefits of practicing yoga?

Improved health, flexibility, mobility, strength, well-being. Connection of body, mind and spirit. The list is endless!
